Dinara Moldosheva

What will be your most valuable contribution to your TechWomen host company?

I think I could share my experience in managing a public organization and my experience in building an innovation ecosystem in a developing country. When working in a state body, one must understand that most state bodies are bureaucratic, clumsy and slow in making decisions. Over the past 3.5 years, I and my team at IP and Innovation office in Kyrgyzstan have managed to turn this body into a transparent and flexible one. Revolutionary reforms have been carried out in the field of introducing new technologies, digitalization and innovation.

The Top Three Things I Would Like to Learn or Experience During my Mentorship

  1. How to apply innovations in education, on the examples of creating innovative components (business incubators, start-up accelerators, innovation centers and technology parks)
  2. The best international experience of using the STEAM, Project Learning Based methodology in educational institutions, in school and out-of-school organizations
  3. Best practices for engagement and acceleration of girls and women in innovative technologies, creativity, social entrepreneurship

Mentorship Characteristic

  • Have exposure to the company culture
  • Identify workshops or certificate programs to further my learning after the program has ended
  • Focus on leadership skills building
  • Expand on a project that I’m working on in my current role at home

Ideal Company Type

I think it can be a state, private or public, non-profit organization that is engaged in the development of innovations, creative industries, start-up construction. It may be a public or private organization in the field of education or science; a University which is involved in the process of creating its own innovation eco-system; a successful non-profit or public organization which is engaged in educational projects that involve girls and women in their innovative processes, STEM education, new technologies or social start-up entrepreneurship; successful business incubator, start-up accelerator or a technopark whose experience in building a successful innovation ecosystem we could use.

What are three adjectives that best describe you in the work place?

  1. Reliable
  2. Persistent
  3. Hardworking

What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?

As a person who is always in process of getting knowledge, I am looking forward to be back with full of new set of mind with the best practices from the land of innovation. I am eager to implement all the possible ways to bring latest practices and experience and share them in Kyrgyzstan. I am especially compassionate about continuing and developing women empowerment in the country in all levels of social life by proving their sustainability for any kinds of challenges in the future. My expectation for my personal development and enlightenment would make these goals easier to achieve.

After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?

Participation in this program will open up new opportunities for me to understand how the state, private partners, academia and innovators can interact in order to develop the national innovative ecosystem. Upon my return I want to team up with TW Fellows in Kyrgyzstan and continue to motivate leaders among girls and women to use technology for professional and personal growth, as well as for the development of public or private companies wherever I work. I believe that the Program will help me and I will be able to become a true leader for my company, community and country.
