What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?

The mentorship will provide me with an opportunity to learn from industry leaders, acquire knowledge and skills and share experiences, as I will be mentored by the best in STEM. The exposure, mentorship and experience will guide me on how to develop STEM projects that uplift the status of women and girls in Rwanda. I envision Rwanda as a STEM hub in Africa, with women and girls being at the forefront. Professionally, I aspire to be one of the leading STEM figures in Rwanda. I believe the mentorship from the program will be a great start towards that goal.

After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?

This program is an opportunity to learn and share my experience and perspectives. I will be in a good position to encourage young girls and women to exploit their potential. I envision creating partnerships that will inspire the younger generation to take advantage of opportunities in technology. My dream is to see women that own small and medium enterprises embrace technology and use internet platforms to market products. Rwanda has women who make beautiful art and crafts, which are versatile products unique to Rwanda sold locally to tourists. With branding and market platform availability, these girls and women can grow their businesses into international brands.
