What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?

This impact will have a very significant impact on my career and professional path. I will have the opportunity to develop my leadership competencies by learning and receiving feedback from my mentors and other TechWomen participants. I will build my functional competencies from the host company, and I will understand well how business is done in a well-developed country like the US. These competencies will help me to devise a personal development plan that will help me achieve my career goal of becoming a technical director in my company and mentor other young women.

After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?

After participation in this TechWomen program, I will return home ready to make a change in my country. I will begin in my own company (Africa Improved Foods) by motivating other women to join technical departments and take leadership roles. I will return to the secondary school from which I graduated and motivate girls to pursue their dream careers and to love STEM. I went through the same experiences as they are now, and I know very well the challenges they face. Furthermore, I will mentor other women to launch their own businesses.
