The Top Three Things I Would Like to Learn or Experience During my Mentorship

  1. Learn how to establish an R&D laboratory to develop new technologies, appliances, and tools to solve problems and enhance quality of life, especially in remote areas. Additionally, learn the process and stages for new product development from brainstorming to promotion to users.
  2. Learn how to establish a start-up and effectively attract potential investors.
  3. Improve my leadership skills and be able to inspire women in my community to pursue a career in STEM.

What are three adjectives that best describe you in the work place?

  1. Problem-solver
  2. Reliable
  3. Visionary

What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?

The TechWomen program will have a significant impact on my career. The professional connections I will make, and the experiences I will gain will shape my thinking process, improve the way I solve problems, and make me more innovative and creative. I will look for opportunities to establish my research lab and, further in the future, my own startup to develop technology-based products to solve problems and enhance quality of life for individuals in my community. I believe that this experience will show me other perspectives on efficiently dealing with problems in my country, and set me up for an impactful career that can change the world.

After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?

I will leverage my experience in the TechWomen program by promoting the need for women in STEM through empowering young girls to pursue their ambitions and inspiring my students to follow this path. Utilizing my TechWomen experience, I aim to provide students, especially girls, with guidance to explore and consider STEM-related studies and jobs. I will offer lectures and workshops to enable and encourage other women and my colleagues to participate in the TechWomen program and be a productive member of the STEM community.
