The Top Three Things I Would Like to Learn or Experience During my Mentorship

  1. Learn how to start a healthcare tech startup solutions organization
  2. Explore uses for artificial intelligence in improving ultrasound accuracy
  3. Develop skills for accessing and raising funds

Ideal Company Type

My ideal company is innovative and research-oriented and uses technology to solve problems, preferably artificial intelligence in solving healthcare problems. The company's size is not important as long as they have a culture of inclusiveness and diverse ideas.

What are three adjectives that best describe you in the work place?

  1. Versatile
  2. Ambitious
  3. Reliable

What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?

I intend to start a tech startup for healthcare solutions so that the experience will lay a strong foundation for this goal. Through the guidance of my mentor, I will gain a better sense of how best to grow in my career. I am currently applying for a Ph.D. focused on the use of artificial intelligence in fetal monitoring using ultrasound. I hope that through building my network, I can meet potential collaborators on future research. Having access to high-tech technologies not yet available in my country will serve as a resource to others regarding their application.

After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?

Following my TechWomen mentorship experience, I will start my AI health startup for use in ultrasound imaging interpretation and healthcare solutions. My goal in doing so is to advance democratization in healthcare. Furthermore, I will serve as a resource for those seeking to use AI technology in healthcare, particularly mentoring and guiding my students.
