What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?
Since the TechWomen program is a unique platform to connect professional women who are in STEM, it will be a good opportunity for me to learn new techniques, approaches and technology in the area of data science; to establish connections with other women who are in STEM and to exchange knowledge and elaborate a strong model which brings solutions to the challenges we are encountering. The gained skills will help me to develop my career as a person but also to help young girls who want to join STEM related subjects.
After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?
The TechWomen program will help me to learn from TechWomen members, to enlarge my perspective and to come back with more innovative ideas. In my return, I will work towards encouraging women, especially young girls, to join the STEM stream. I will make use of my connection to help as many women as possible to become self-confident and resilient for a bright future. I will also join the TechWomen Rwanda alumnae group and work together with them to reach out to young girls and implement STEM awareness campaigns in high schools in Rwanda.
