The Top Three Things I Would Like to Learn or Experience During my Mentorship

  1. Gain more knowledge on biotechnology, bioinformatics and health-tech applications and global advancements
  2. Experience real life events and challenges in these fields and actively participate in the solutions
  3. Connect with like-minded group of professionals and build a mutually rewarding network

Ideal Company Type

Ideally, the company would have 50-100+ employees and focus on health-related technologies (bioinformatics, biotechnology, AI applications in healthcare, etc.). The company would have a friendly, supportive culture, with planned employee engagement activities, professional and personal development programs, and a shared break area (or a virtual equivalent) that allows daily social interaction. The culture of my ideal company rewards teamwork and sets people on the right track to becoming leaders.

What are three adjectives that best describe you in the work place?

  1. Reliable
  2. Outgoing
  3. Resourceful

What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?

Through my mentorship, I will strengthen my knowledge in the field of the startup that I co-founded, which will serve as a basis for any future successful projects and businesses. It will also connect me to brilliant people in my field, allowing me to participate in a robust network that will lead to mutual benefit over the long term.

After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?

Following my TechWomen experience, I will build a stronger company dedicated to bringing science-based value creation in the genomics-AI field, the first of its kind in Jordan. I will leverage my network by encouraging learning and growth programs for employees and interns at our organization.
