What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?
I believe in the power of collaborations which, to be fruitful, should be multidisciplinary and malleable. I look forward to joining efforts and building partnerships on personal, humane and professional levels. Personally, TechWomen will allow me to challenge myself, take a step back and re-evaluate my work. In the age of tech, it is no longer enough to accept the status quo of things within one’s immediate environment. I believe that looking closely at the different challenges we face around the world and the solutions that they are met with is the best way yet to elaborate and apply our own.
After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?
The TechWomen fellowship will grant me access to resources that will help me better shape my vision for Savvy Element, which I've developed in a context where green awareness is scarce. It will assist me in putting my technical skills into perspective and allow me to meet, exchange ideas with, and learn from other women involved in implementing tech solutions in their communities. Being a passionate environmental advocate has given me insights on tools that could be commonly used in preservation and sustained development. Still, I require additional multidisciplinary tools that will allow me to develop responses to the challenges of today accurately.
