What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?

My mentorship will give me exposure to work in another culture and environment. I will bring concepts I see in my mentorship company back to my home company to help encourage my company to stand for optimism, diversity, inclusion, sharing of information and collaboration. The leadership training will help groom me professionally. Access to educational and professional opportunities, information and tools will also expose me to multiple systems that will inspire me to improve my thinking process and develop effective solutions. The opportunity to work with a top company in Silicon Valley will boost my confidence and motivate me to improve to better represent my community and my country.

What will be your most valuable contribution to your TechWomen host company?

I will bring a different tech perspective to the room and share ideas on working towards tech and gender inclusion. I have a diverse educational, work and anthropological perspective that has helped me to approach problems from different angles. I can take what I learn back to my home region and am willing to collaborate as a brand ambassador or help launch a regional chapter or a talk series to bring value to the community. I am also open to collaborating on research and development. I will share insights on solutions to problems facing emerging economies which often require solutions to be built on community feedback.

After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?

When I return home, I will share the experiences I gain during the TechWomen program through my initiative, Entreprenr120, which features vlogs targeted at fellow entrepreneurs looking for a way to share their stories with the world. I will continue to work as founder Hop Orbits to increase employment/business sustainability through digital inclusion, e-commerce, promoting entrepreneurship and an entrepreneurial mindset. I plan to continue empowering local businesses in e-commerce adoption, going digital to safeguard their market share and continue maximizing job creation in Pakistan.
