What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?

My life's dream is to be part of a leading international organization dedicated to achieving sustainable development in developing countries. I believe that TechWomen will be a milestone in my career, and will put me on the right path toward achieving this goal. Through the program, I will further develop analytical and technical skills related to environmental sustainability. Furthermore, I will benefit immensely from the many leaders and mentors whom I will meet, either through striking up partnerships or by gaining new insights into sustainability and learning from their perspectives and experience.

After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?

By deepening my personal and professional skills and expanding my network, TechWomen provides something unique and very different from ordinary internships or training. I hope to pass along the benefits of the experience through my management of a non-profit that contributes to environmental awareness and finding sustainable solutions. I will share my experience and the knowledge gained with my peers and the interns who work with us, and I will apply the skills and strategies I acquire to our projects and work plans in development. Additionally, I hope to establish new projects in partnership with contacts made through the TechWomen network. In parallel, I will work beyond the confines of my organization, and arrange meetings to encourage and empower other women in Egypt and MENA to lead in their professions.
