I am experienced in software development, specifically mobile development. My most valuable contribution willbe my enthusiasm for software development, my experience, diverse educational background, networking skills and unique ability to analyze to the host company. I can be flexible with a list of different daily tasks, I'm self-driven and I have great motivation and desire to learn.

The Top Three Things I Would Like to Learn or Experience During my Mentorship

  1. Strengthen my technical skills in software development
  2. Learn how to tackle challenges involved in creating software products and solutions
  3. Improve my leadership skills and expand my professional network

What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?

My TechWomen mentorship will impact my professional path on so many levels. First, I will improve my technical skills, which will provide me with a solid foundation to qualify for advanced work responsibilities like evaluating, enhancing and developing complex software solutions. Second, I will improve my soft skills like leadership, decision-making and time management. Additionally, I aspire to build a solid network and acquire diverse connections through the Techwomen mentorship, which will provide me with great access to international opportunities and potential future collaborations. TechWomen is an essential step toward realizing and visualizing my future career plans and objectives.

After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?

After my TechWomen experience, I will leverage the gained knowledge and network to enlarge the Palestinian tech sector by encouraging others to join the field and inspiring them to pursue a career in tech. I intend to focus more on targeting women and young school girls by introducing them to career paths in tech through collaboration with other Palestinian Emerging Leaders and fellows to conduct tech activities, sessions and bootcamps. The TechWomen experience will open my mind to ideas and solutions to improving Palestinian living conditions through technology.
