  1. Develop leadership, entrepreneurship and project management skills.
  2. Gain skills in business funding, resource management and business sustainability models.
  3. Expand my network and gain exposure to the tech industry's work environments.

What are three adjectives that best describe you in the work place?

  1. Persistent
  2. Creative
  3. Professional

What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?

Participation in this program will prepare me to pioneer the field of protein crystallography in my country and to establish a biotech institute that achieves world-class research in the field of therapeutic proteins and drug discovery. It will also help in building my knowledge and network of experts in the field. The TechWomen program has sparked my enthusiasm, and I have a strong belief that it will be an excellent first step toward building my leadership skills, and will guide me toward becoming one of the leading female scientists in my country.

After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?

The experience that I will gain from the program will establish me as a female-scientist role model to inspire young students and researchers. It will also prepare me to establish my dream biotechnology research institute, which will provide research experience to young students in Jordan who find it difficult to travel abroad for research due to family obligations and financial limitations to pursue research and bring novel discoveries to the whole community.
