Ideal Company Type

I would like to join a company in Renewable Energy (RE) industry that is innovative, dynamic and diverse. I am interested in a company that executes various types of the RE projects: wind, solar, hydro and etc. While executing the projects, they complete all phases of the projects, starting with business development, through conceptual studies, design and engineering, construction, commissioning and operation. I wish to meet with their highly professional engineers who can share with me their experiences, technologies used, industry innovations and best practices. In addition, this company could develop alternative sources of energy projects, such as hydrogen, nuclear, etc.

What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?

As you may see from my work experience, I've build a good career path in Oil and Gas industry with my attempt to switch to Renewable Energy (RE) sector. Since RE is relatively new industry in my home country, I've decided to improve my skills and knowledge in RE from intercalation experiences. Therefore, I see a very big value that TechWomen can bring to my career while giving me an opportunity to connect me with the professionals and mentors who can share their knowledge with me in this or relevant spheres.

After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?

I have two major goals that TechWomen will help me achieve. The first goal is to improve my knowledge in green technologies/renewable energy with the potential to implement them locally in my country. There is an emerging need in technology and project execution improvement in this sector in Kazakhstan which I experienced while working in local engineering company. The second goal is to create a networking platform with the focus on national women in leadership roles who can tell their stories of success and inspire other women in Kazakhstan. At TechWomen, I will be able to start building relationships with such emerging leaders.
