The Top Three Things I Would Like to Learn or Experience During my Mentorship

  1. Expand my technical skills and learn more about creating web design
  2. Creating and developing an online school or education platform
  3. Develop leadership skills, personal development and communication skills

Ideal Company Type

My ideal company is one that offers creative solutions to important problems. I am especially interested in companies that could help me in my goal to create a website design business that is adaptable to the ever-changing tech landscape. I am also interested in learning how to create an organization or an educational center where I can support girls or women to realize their dream in STEM. For example, I would like to mentor and teach mathematics and LaTex (typesetting system; it includes features designed to produce technical and scientific documentation). Additionally, the company would provide a healthy and motivating environment for their employees and give them frequent opportunities to improve themselves. The size and location of the company do not matter much to me, I just prefer a positive and motivating environment that encourages growth.

What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?

Participating in this program will be a great opportunity for my professional development and career. Firstly, mentorship will help me to learn more about leadership skills. Secondly, I will be able to develop personally and enhance my communication skills. Finally, the TechWomen mentorship will enable me to build relationships with women in tech from all over the world. So, participating in this program will be a starting point as I continue in my career, and will also be a great achievement for me.

After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?

For women in our society to achieve something is challenging since taking care of the kitchen and house are considered the main job and responsibility of women. Therefore after coming back to my country I will make presentations at my University and explain that women can perform more and be more. Finally, in my interactions with students at the university and other women, I will show that experience in the TechWomen program has played a great role in my life and development. In so doing, I hope I will be able to change the opinion of some women and girls and impact how they raise their own children. I will share the importance and necessity of getting an education.
